It is said that we have complete control and power over our lives if we simply tap into the power of our thoughts. Our thoughts shape our reality. While I find some of the “new-agey” rhetoric a little tough to swallow, I do believe that being positive, optimistic and grateful go a long way in helping to lighten a load that might otherwise feel crushing. Every experience is made more brilliant and meaningful if we choose to see it as such. Each moment we spend contemplating negative thoughts is a moment of happiness we rob ourselves. We have one life and are constantly reminded to live it fully…well, we can. Just think positively.

Hope you have a great Wednesday!
The problem is life isn’t fair. Bad things happen to good people all the time. I expect the best and often find the best. But it doesn’t stop tragedy, random violence, accidents, etc. Many others I know are hopeful, faith-filled, cheerful and positive in spite of their intense pain and suffering. I think as a Christian, this says it best, “The cross means life is unfair.” Even the best person in the world who had the mind power of positive transformative thinking embraced the bad with the good.

Very true. We cannot stop tragedy or sadness. But perhaps we can learn from it and realise that our reaction to life shapes us. Thanks for commenting!
